About Me

Brief Academic Background

I hold a Ph.D. degree in Polymer Science.  My research (at the University of Calgary, Canada and METU, Turkey) was mainly based on the synthesis and mechanical and viscoelastical characterisation of novel block copolymers.   I also carried out research on kinetics of polymerisation reactions and also on block copolymer formation using special cations.  Lately I have moved into the realm of biomaterials and conducting polymers.  I published several papers on these (and some other topics), a list of which can be found elsewhere.

I also hold several Management Certificates (IMDI-University of Pittsburgh, USA) and Database Programming Certificates from several institutions, both national and international.

I have previously taught and directed research at the University of Calgary, EMU and NEU.
